Parliamentary Services: Re-elected to the 10th National Parliament as the Member for Tari-Pori Open.

2007: Appointed as the Parliamentary Secretary for Works and Transport on 29/08/2007.
2011: Appointed to Privileges Committee as Deputy Chair and Member of Parliamentary Referral Committee on Inter- Government Relations on 18/08/2011.
2008-2011: Appointed Minister for Education on 16/12/2008 – 02/08/2011.
2012: Appointed Minister for Finance on July 2012.
2019 – 11 April 2019: Resigned as Minister for Finance and Rural Development – 3rd Term in Parliament.
20 April 2019 - Resigned from the People’s National Congress Party and Joined the Pangu Pati and was given the leadership.
Current: Nominated, elected and sworn in as the 8th Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea by the National Parliament on 30 May 2019.
