Parliamentary Services  : 

2017        : Re-elected to the 10th National Parliament as the Member for Tari-Pori Open.           

2007        :  Appointed Minister for Finance and Leader of Government Business (2007).           

2007        :  Appointed as the Parliamentary Secretary for Works and Transport on 29/08/2007. 

2011        :  Appointed to Privileges Committee as Deputy Chair and Member of Parliamentary Referral Committee on Inter- Government Relations on 18/08/2011.      

2008-2011      :  Appointed Minister for Education on 16/12/2008 – 02/08/2011. 

2012        :  Appointed Minister for Finance on July 2012. 

2019 – Current     :  Resigned as Minister for Finance and Rural Development on 11 April 2019 – 3rd Term in Parliament; Resigned from the People’s National Congress Party on 20 April 2019. Joined the Pangu Pati and was given the leadership.                   

Current       :  Nominated, elected and sworn in as the 8th Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea by the National Parliament on 30 May 2019.
