Journalist Visa Clearance
To obtain a Journalist Visa Clearance Approval; all Foreign Media intending to enter Papua New Guinea to cover news, do documentaries, filming, photography, in-house publications and recordings, etc. must provide the following documentations:
  1. Current passport bio-page;
  2. Confirmation Letter from Employer/Letter of Assignment;
  3. A Support Letter from a Sponsor in PNG (if any);
  4. Confirmed Travel Itinerary;
  5. List of Equipment; and
  6. Copy of Visa Application form (completed).
Ensure to advise the Media Branch of which Papua New Guinea Mission overseas will be processing the visa application form.
