Upon receiving the District's Five-Year Development Plan, the Prime Minister urged the people of Tewae-Siassi to ensure the plan is implemented to the letter, one step at a time.

He urged them to maintain law and order due to the fact that when there are law and order issues, service provide do no bring services to the district for fear of law and order threats to themselves and their families.

The Prime Minister also urged the people to send their children to school.

"The country has a lot of potential and it must change," Prime Minister Marape said.

He said Papua New Guinea is a country where the people own 95 percent of the land therefore people must go back and work their land and the Government will do their bit to find market for the people to sell their products and produce.

"We will buy straight from you so you make good money and not lose money through third parties."

Prime Minister Marape also urged the people of Tewae-Siassi to not sell their land but to lease it to those who want to live or do business in the district.

He said everyone must work in partnership with the government, taking development forward, one step at a time.
