with those who have lost loved ones, and we pray for strength and comfort for the survivors and all affected by this devastating tragedy.”
The Prime Minister acknowledged the close and enduring partnership between Papua New Guinea and India, underpinned by mutual respect, development cooperation, and shared values across sectors such as health, education, agriculture, and digital technology.
“India has long been a partner and friend of Papua New Guinea. In this dark hour, we stand in full solidarity with the Indian people,” he said.
“May the souls of those who lost their lives in this tragedy rest in eternal peace.”
